Rhythm of the year · El calendario

A predictable week, a full school year.

In person Monday through Thursday, a Friday virtual day for Kindergarten and up, and a year-round calendar that averages six weeks on, one week off. Here's how the week — and the year — is shaped.

Elementary (K–2nd) — full day

Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Friday is the virtual day: a live touchpoint from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, then structured follow-up work students finish at home the rest of the day.

Pre-K Enrichment — our 4×4 program

Four hours a day, four days a week for Pre-K ages 2–4: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Limited two-day options run Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday. Pre-K doesn't have a Friday virtual day — for our littlest learners, the week wraps up Thursday.

How the year works · El año escolar

A year-round academic calendar.

Our model averages six weeks on, one week off, all year long — with two longer breaks at Christmas and at the end of the school year. Students still get approximately 180 school days; they're just spaced out on purpose. Here's why:

Immersion doesn't sit idle.

We don't want students to go months at a time without educational input and language immersion — a long gap deteriorates the hard work and effort they've put in.

Breaks before burnout.

Frequent breaks prevent burnout and keep students and staff motivated — everyone comes back rested and ready, not running on fumes.

Vacation when it's quiet.

Our break weeks don't fall during traditional school breaks, which means vacation spots won't be as crowded when your family travels.

≈180school days a year
6 / 1weeks on / week off, on average
2longer breaks — Christmas & end of year
